Cow tipping will become an officially recognised sport at the 2021 Island Games.
The Games come to Guernsey that year and the organisers are excited to add some local flair to the international tournament.
An inaugural cow tipping team will be announced next week; however, it’s widely expected renowned ‘tipper’ Colin Le Prevost will come out of retirement for the sport’s defining moment.
“I can’t officially say that I’m coming out of retirement,” said Mr Le Prevost.

“But I can say I’m looking forward to getting back to the business end of a robust heifer.”
Mr Le Prevost is widely believed to be joined by Jack Le Prevost and Kath Le Prevost (all unrelated), for Guernsey 2021.
The 2021 Games organisers believe this is a turning point for the competition.
“You know what they say, West is Best, so we’re going to be building a bespoke stadium for us to hold future tipping tournaments,” said spokesman Mark West.
“We’ll be breaking ground on the project in the next couple of weeks, which will turn Fort Hommet into a real tour-de-force of bovine sporting activities,” he continued.
“Home field rules apply: cows must complete a full 360 degree revolution for the tip to be counted, a competitor can only turn one cow at a time, and a sleeping cow cannot be awoken.
“However, you do receive bonus points for successfully tipping a sleeping cow without waking it up.
“It’s going to be quite the spectacle.”
